We can help with:

Postpartum Depression and Anxiety

Pregnancy and Infant Loss

Birth Trauma

If you have been feeling unlike yourself since your baby arrived, you are not alone. Postpartum depression and anxiety are among the most common experiences new parents face, and they are also among the most treatable. With the right support you can find your way back to yourself.

Birth does not always go the way we hoped. If your birth experience left you feeling frightened, unheard, or deeply unsettled, those feelings deserve to be honoured and processed. Healing from birth trauma is possible, and you do not have to carry it alone.

Losing a pregnancy or a baby is one of the most profound griefs a person can experience. Your loss is real, your pain is valid, and you deserve a space to grieve without judgment. We are here to walk alongside you at your own pace.

Perinatal OCD and Intrusive Thoughts

Identity and Matrescence

Fertility Challenges

Becoming a mother changes everything, including who you are. Matrescence is the profound psychological shift that happens when a woman becomes a parent, and it can feel disorienting, even grieving. You are not losing yourself. You are becoming someone new, and that process deserves support.

The journey to parenthood is not always straightforward. Fertility challenges can bring grief, stress, relationship strain, and a profound sense of loss of control. Whatever stage of the journey you are on, you deserve compassionate support that truly understands what you are going through.

Intrusive or frightening thoughts during pregnancy or postpartum can feel terrifying, especially when they involve your baby. These thoughts are more common than you think and do not reflect who you are or what you want. Specialized support can help you understand what is happening and find relief.

Relationships and Intimacy After Baby

Anxiety

Depression

Becoming parents changes everything, including your relationship. The sleep deprivation, shifting roles, emotional distance, and changes to intimacy can leave partners feeling disconnected and alone even when you are right next to each other. This does not mean something is wrong with your relationship. It means you are human. Therapy offers a safe space to reconnect, communicate more openly, and find your way back to each other.

We know how exhausting it can be to live with constant worry. The good news is anxiety is highly treatable. Through personalized care, we’ll help you understand the root of your anxiety, develop effective coping strategies, and reclaim a sense of calm and control in your life.

Grief and Loss

Grief can show up in many ways—sadness, anger, numbness, or feeling lost. Whether you're mourning the death of a loved one, a relationship, or a life transition, your pain is valid. Counselling provides a compassionate space to process your loss, honour your emotions, and move through grief at your own pace.

As therapists, we help you understand the root of your depression, develop coping strategies, and create a path toward healing. Through therapy, you can regain a sense of balance, strengthen resilience, and reconnect with what matters most. No matter how long you have been struggling, support is available, and recovery is possible.

Life Transitions

Major life changes, even positive ones, can bring uncertainty, stress, and emotional upheaval. Whether you are navigating a new career, a move, a breakup, parenthood, or another transition, adjusting to change can feel overwhelming. The loss of familiarity and routine can create feelings of instability, self-doubt, or anxiety about the future.

Having support during these shifts can make all the difference. Therapy provides a space to process emotions, gain clarity, and build strategies to move forward with confidence and stability. Change is never easy, but you do not have to navigate it alone.

ADHD and Motherhood

Many women are first diagnosed with ADHD during pregnancy or after their baby arrives. The sleepless nights, the mental load, the loss of routine -- all of it can amplify symptoms that were once manageable and make you feel like you are constantly falling behind. If you have been wondering whether ADHD might be part of your story, you are not alone. Therapy can help you understand how ADHD shows up in your life as a parent, build strategies that actually work for you, and find more ease in the everyday.
